I'm a surface pattern designer and illustrator living on an island in Norway, specializing in design for young kids.
My work is inspired by the graphic shapes of Scandinavian minimalism mixed with Japanese cuteness. I love creating colorful drawings with a touch of humor that makes people smile!
With over 15 years of experience from illustration and design, my work has been commissioned by clients all over the world including Cappelen Damm, Aschehoug, Egmont, Highlights, Macmillan and McGraw-Hill.
Contact me if you're interested in working together or licensing any of my designs. I'll be happy to hear from you!

"Anette is a very bright and professional artist. I enjoyed working with her, and her art reminded me of my happy childhood. All of her artwork was bright, warm, and happy. As a client, I appreciated her great insight. She has a very special talent for retelling stories with her own unique style and taste in drawing. She is an IT artist I can enthusiastically recommend working with!"
